Not the FO you're expecting...

I have indeed finished Sahara, but since our digital camera is vacationing with one of our friends, I can't show it to you right now.  What did I ever do before I got that camera?  I've also cast on for Le Slouch in a lovely deep purple color for Project Spectrum, but of course, no picture of that either.  (Actually, you can see the yarn I'm using for the hat in the photo below--it's leftover from this project!)

So instead I'll show you a project that I knit quite some time ago but never blogged about as a test knit for Cheryl.  She just recently published the pattern on her blog, so I thought it was a good time to break out the photos!

Pattern: Options Tank
Yarn: Araucania Nature Cotton (not sure how many skeins it took, unfortunately)
Time to Complete: Not very long--completed in May 2005
Notes: This is a great basic pattern with several options for the straps (halter, cross back tank, regular tank).  It's perfect for a beginner; I had only been knitting for a few months when I made it!  I made the XS size, in case you're wondering.  Oh, and my picture's in the pattern! (My last name's incorrect, but that's ok.)

And while you're over at Cheryl's site, be sure to read this post and go vote for her to get on TV!  We need good knitting role models on reality shows. :)

I'm excited to see Sahara (squeal!) This cami is a fabulous appetizer, though - great color and great pattern.

Bonita is really pretty, and I like your options tank too. The shaping looks good.

Sorry to read about your vacation experience. That's awful!! I hope you were able to enjoy yourselves anyway.
