Overwhelmed

Thank you all for your wonderful comments on the Bell Sleeve Sweater!  It seems that I finished it just in time--I wore it twice and then the Houston weather warmed up, so I don't think I'll be able to wear it again for a while.  But the Main Line seems to hold up nicely, and it's very comfortable to wear even with my sensitivity to wool.  There is a bit of pilling under the arms and in high-friction areas, but nothing unmanageable.

I finally got out the sewing machine and did a crappy job of lining my Counterpane Pouch, so it's all done!

Pattern: Counterpane Accessories Pouch from Handknit Holidays
Yarn: Soy yarn from Stacey, which doesn't seem to be available anymore
Time to knit: January 20 through February 24, 2007 (actual knitting time was much shorter, I just took a while to do the finishing)
Notes: I modified it to be two repeats across and three repeats high.  I'm not too proud of my sewing skills, but it works!

I've continued my Project Spectrum themed knits with two gray projects:

Now to get ready for a symphony concert--my belated Christmas present!  Have a great week!

I just LOVE the color of the pouch!! Really gorgeous! I have yet to get my hands on Rowan 39. What did you hear the symphony play?

I really love that puch that you did - what an amazing colour!

Great job on the pouch - it turned out great. I'm glad to see you're knitting Crinkle - I love that project, but I'm not sure I'll ever knit it, so I want to see some others knitted up. Have fun!

Ooh, the counterpane pouch is so CUTE! Great job. And I love your WIPs, also. Both look like they're going to be fabulous. (and I have fondness for the Polar Morn colorway - I just love it!)

Your new purse looks so pretty! The linings are always tricky; I'm planning to do a Noni bag for spring and I don't sew, so this will be interesting. Your crinkle looks great -- are you liking the cotton glace?

Thank you for your comment on my camisole. I think I am going to have to take it out, but I'm not sure what to do from there.
