Impatient Knitter
I am so impatient. I keep finding projects that I just HAVE to do. I really need to realize that I don't have to make everything I want immediately. The patterns will always be there!
For example:
Starburst Sweater from Knitpicks
I saw this and instantly loved the back, but not so much the sleeves. Still, I was willing to order the pattern. But then Fru Dart found this and posted it on the Knitting Help forum:
Is this not the most beautiful sweater ever? Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating, but I do love it.
And of course I want to start it right away. Now, I already have so many projects in line that really that's not practical. Nor do I need another cardigan at this time of the year.
So, it will be saved for as long as I can stand it.
In the meantime, I've signed up for the Hanne Falkenberg Knitalong. I've had the Mermaid kit for a little while now but haven't started. I decided that in order to have it done by next fall/winter it might actually be best to start it now. I love the jacket but know it will be a major investment in time! Wish me luck!

I agree, the Garnstudio cardi is so much more *right*. I love the Mermaid, too... can't wait to see more! :)

that garnstudio cardi is gorgeous and much much nicer than the knitpicks one. i am very envious that you have a hanne falkenberg kit. i have been looking at those for ages now thinking should i - shouldn't i...however winters just don't get cold enough over here in australia to warrant it. (although i am wondering if that is actually a real excuse or not!)

I'm the same way with knitting projects. The only difference is that I find a ton of things that are WAY beyond my skill level! I'm in love with "Starsky" from Knitty, but I don't think I'll be knitting that anytime soon! LOL
That cardi is gorgeous!
